Crocheted Star Tablecloth

This is a beautiful easy to make crocheted tablecloth made after a pattern written by the UK designer Erika Knight. She is known for her simple and minimalist designs.

I chose this pattern because it was easy to make, the only challenge I had was to crochet the stars together as I went along, I kept tying up the wrong leg of the star, so I crocheted them individually and then sewed them together. It wasn’t the ideal case, but it worked.

I also changed the color of the yarn because of what I could find at the local yarn store, so instead of the beige yarn I crocheted with this coral yarn. I like the way it turned out though!

The yarn was bought at our local Toronto yarn store, one of the most amazing yarn stores – Eweknit.
